In collaboration with the Australian Department of Health, Victorian State Government Guidelines and Causeway Hotels colleagues, our processes have been safely updated whilst retaining the warm and genuine service levels you have come to know and recognize us for. As we continue to bring our unique location amongst the heart of Melbourne’s eclectic laneways to life, we do so with safety and your wellbeing at our core.
Additional steps we are taking:
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in our public areas and high traffic areas, including the lobby, lifts, door handles, public bathrooms, gym and room keys. Hand sanitising stations are installed at our front desk for your use. Public areas have undergone a thorough and detailed deep clean.
Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. We have added partitions at check-in to provide an extra level of precaution for our guests and our team.
In addition to a thorough and detailed deep clean and our already rigorous cleaning processes, we have elevated our protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants, with increased attention to high touch surfaces, and reduction of furnishings and high touch items. Hand sanitiser has been included with our complimentary in-room amenities.
BEHIND THE SCENES
We have also made changes in our back of house areas, increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, including high touch areas such as entrances, linen rooms and offices.
All team members have attended, completed and been certified by the Australian Department of Health in Infection Control Training for COVID-19.
Causeway Hotels has appointed a dedicated Quality & Safety Manager to ensure all guidelines under the Causeway Cares initiative are ongoing and diligently executed.
Causeway Hotels did not participate in the Return Traveller Quarantine Hotel program, thus none of our hotels have experienced any COVID–19 cluster outbreaks.
